lenti galileiane
Monocular or binocular use for distant, intermediate, near vision. The Galilean system consists of a negative ocular lens and a positive objective lens. The addition of devices with positive or negative lenses make the Galilean systems suitable for both distant and near vision. For distant vision, this system ensures a retinal magnification of an object located at an infinite distance and with the correct frame it guarantees good stability and a well-centred image. The magnification options reach up to about 3x from a distance. Beyond this magnification value there may be image distortion in the peripheral area of the field of vision.Near vision, and therefore being able to focus on text while reading, can instead be achieved by using additional lenses placed in front of the system to reach magnification values up to 12x.
