ML BINOVA PRO
The ML BINOVA PRO hypercorrective prismatic glasses designed for individuals with impaired vision issues magnify the retinal image and are very useful for both reading and some types of manual work. However, very close binocular vision requires a convergence effort that eyes are normally unable to sustain.
This is why the ML BINOVA PRO reading glasses, as well as having strong positive dioptric values (up to +16D), are integrated with nose-facing prisms that reduce the need for ocular convergence by moving the image externally.
This will make it possible to read comfortably close up even with high magnification levels.
All ML BINOVA PRO eyeglasses come with the Prima + anti-glare treatment and can be made upon request by adding a cylindrical correction. They can also be supplied with a medical filter to improve image contrast and can be ordered both in the binocular and the monocular version.
Illustration 1 below shows the focus distance (A) for the natural convergence of the visual axes and the focus distance (B) achieved with the integration of prisms. This will avoid muscle strain and reduce the need for ocular convergence.
Interesting option of putting together a modular trial KIT with glasses that can be selected from the models and standard dioptres available in the catalogue. By purchasing at least four pairs of glasses, you will have a dedicated carry case for free.
