Screws
Centro Style offers a full range of quality screws used by top frame manufacturers and made by machining them with a lathe to ensure the correct measurements when creating the metric pitch. This results in higher quality compared to economical screws, which are instead moulded and do not guarantee a correct coupling between the male thread and the female one.
They have specific features based on the type of glasses: there are specific screws for frames with spring hinges, for frames made of metal and plastic, as well as for rimless frames.
They are made with two different materials, stainless steel or nickel silver, to guarantee different performance levels:
Stainless steel, a very resistant and hard material mainly used for screws for rimlocks to ensure greater sealing or where greater hardness is required.
Nickel silver, a material slightly softer than steel, usually employed for the screws of temples and browbars, which do not need to be tightened too firmly.
Packaging: The screws come in modular containers that can be coupled together. They have an integrated lid reporting information on their use to make it easier to organise the laboratory and quickly look for a component, while the internal label is ideal to re-order products without making mistakes. The barcode makes it easier to manage stocks.
